What Is A Doula?
You may have landed on our website looking for some assistance with your pregnancy, labour or postpartum journey. However, you may still be wondering "what actually is a Doula?"

So here's a brief explanation...

A Doula is typical someone who will provide you with emotional and physical support through your pregnancy, during labour and once your baby has arrived. The role of "mothering the mother" through this stage of their life. This goes for any birth, in any setting. We are not medical professionals and do not assess health conditions, but we can work alongside any healthcare professionals you wish to work with.

- Providing research & evidence based information on your choices & options
- Help you with breathing, visualisation & relaxation techniques
- Provide you with aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, rebozo, pain relief, comfort measures for pregnancy & labour

- Support you in the run up to & during birth
- Advocate on your behalf on your birth choices
- Help to de-brief your birth
